Where to Stay in Łeba: Our 5-Night Stay, Tried and Tested
By Jérôme R · Visited in July 2026 · Updated · How we work
Łeba was our longest stop of the trip after Kraków — five nights to catch our breath after several days on the road and make the most of the Baltic coast. Here's the place we stayed and our tips for choosing your own base there, close to Słowiński National Park and the Hel Peninsula.
Where we stayed: Osada Słowińska
True story, July 2026: we'd booked Osada Słowińska for five nights — the place where we stayed longest on the whole trip, to rest after stringing together several stops. What drew us to this place: a pool with a jacuzzi, bikes to hire on site, and accommodation big enough and well equipped, within a small complex of ten to fifteen units, in a quiet spot less than 2 km from central Łeba.
The welcome was excellent; if you don't speak Polish, English works well, but we found few people on site spoke French, Spanish or German. A Lidl supermarket right nearby let us stock up easily as soon as we arrived.
On the practical side, the kitchen is very well equipped: we cooked there without any trouble. Bikes can be hired for a modest price, and both the beach and the dunes of Słowiński National Park are less than an hour away by bike — a lovely, easy ride that we did as a family without any difficulty.
Watch out: outside town, near the woods, mosquitoes can be a real nuisance, especially towards the end of the day — bring something to protect yourself.

Why choose Łeba as a base
The proximity to the Baltic Sea and its beaches, the option of getting around by bike, and easy access to the Słowiński National Park and its shifting dunes make Łeba a good base for exploring this whole stretch of coast, including a day trip to the Hel Peninsula.
